  Meetings in 2019

A meeting at Petra Röhr-Rouendaal’s house, Sutton Coldfield B73 6JA. Contact her on 0121 355 5631 or email: petra@wilberworld.net to book your place and discover her actual address.  Bring food to share for lunch at 1.00 pm. and the workshop, making birds, will start at 2.00 pm. and finish at 4.30 pm.  Feel free to bring an apron, some tools and ideas to help you with your work.  Everyone is welcome.

A meeting at Ken Palmer’s 01543 415186 or email: kenatcourtyard@talktalk.net or Helen Willis’s 0121 605 4947 or email: admin@midlandspotters.co.uk . It will totally depend upon the weather and how many people want to pit fire, smoke fire or Raku fire.  Pit firing can only be done at Ken’s but there needs to be a sufficient number of pots to make it worth all the effort.  Smoke firing and Raku (wood fired) can be done at Helen’s.  The work must have been biscuit fired beforehand, preferably burnished and wrapped for the pit or smoke firings.  If there is too much rain or snow then maybe we’ll think of something else to do.  Bring your own lunch on these activity days rather than a shared buffet.  Further information will be emailed nearer to the date.  Once again this meeting is open to everyone.

A selling opportunity, with 20% of sales to go to Alzheimer's Research, at Christine Curnow’s from 10.00 am until 1.00 pm. Please contact her on christinecurnow@gmail.com or 01527 558932 to obtain her address.  A donation for a raffle prize would be gratefully appreciated.
